Thanks for using Yehna! Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the app operated by Izzly Pty Ltd ("us", "we", or "our").

By using Yehna, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with them, you unfortunately cannot use the Service.

1. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account.

  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information (specifically your email) during registration.
  • Security: You are responsible for safeguarding the password or authentication method you use to access the Service.
  • Responsibility: You are responsible for any activities or actions under your account. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorised use of your account.

2. Not Medical Advice (The Important Bit)

Yehna is a tool for information and lifestyle guidance, not a doctor.

  • Informational Only: Our nutritional data, ingredient analysis, and recommendations are for educational purposes.
  • Estimates Only: The app may display how a specific product contributes to a nutritional goal. These calculations are estimates based on available data and are for context only. They should not be used for strict medical dietary management (e.g., insulin management for diabetes).
  • No Doctor-Patient Relationship: Using this app does not create a medical relationship.
  • Consult Pros: Always seek the advice of your physician or qualified health provider regarding medical conditions or dietary changes.
  • Allergies: While we try to be accurate, ingredient data can change or be incomplete. Always double-check physical packaging if you have severe allergies.

3. Contributing Data

If you use Yehna to submit photos of new products (products not yet in our database):

  • Accuracy: You agree to submit clear, accurate photos of the actual product packaging.
  • Licence to Display: By submitting a photo, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use, display, reproduce, and modify that image. This allows us to show the product photo to other users and extract the necessary data for the database.
  • Ownership: The resulting data entry created from your submission (e.g., the text list of ingredients) becomes part of the Yehna database owned by Izzly Pty Ltd, so that we can share it with the whole community.

4. Subscriptions & Refunds

Yehna offers a subscription to unlock premium features.

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) via your Apple ID or Google Play account.
  • Auto-Renewal: Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in your device settings.
  • Cancellations: You can cancel anytime in your Apple/Google settings. You will continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
  • Refunds: Because we don't manage the payments (Apple and Google do), we generally cannot issue refunds directly. Refund requests must be made through the App Store or Google Play Store support systems.

5. Intellectual Property

Yehna, including its code, design, database, and original content, is owned by Izzly Pty Ltd. Please don't copy, reverse engineer, or try to clone our work. We work hard on it!

6. Liability

We strive for perfection, but technology (and nutrition data) can be complex.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Izzly Pty Ltd and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including data loss or health issues) resulting from your use of Yehna. The app is provided "as is" and "as available."

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If we ever have a legal dispute (let's hope not!), it will be resolved in the courts of Victoria.
